Whats next ?!?!?!?

Ok i have a 97 ram 2500. THe mods that i have so far are gauges, bhaf, triplt disc converter, valvebody, afc spring gone, stock fuel plate slid, 375 marine injectors, and it is straight piped. I know one of the next mods needs to be a bogger exhaust, but afer that whats next in you guys's eyes. Any suggestion is appreciated so please add your .02

What BB said. Lose the stock plate! Either grind yourself a #100 plate from your stocker or get a #10.....the only difference is that the #100 won't limit the top end fueling. Also, 2 more imperative mods that should be done are a GSK (you won't believe the difference) and if you don't do anything else, get the pump timing advanced to at least 16*....these inexpensive mods will add an unreal amount of power and drivability to your truck. The #100, GSK, and timing advance will easily push your stock HX35 WELL out of it's range when coupled with your 370 sticks so you will have to look into a turbo upgrade to keep egt's reasonable and to properly make use of all that extra fueling.

Yes, big DV's will help fuel those 370's to the limit but his 180 hp pump already has 181's which feed 370's well and he will already be heavily overfueled as it is unless he swaps turbos.

I wouldn't even think of putting new dv's or putting a #10 or #100 until you get it breathing with a bigger turbo, then i would go with a fuel plate, laser cut delivery valves, 4,000 rpm governor spring kit, and then You could also go with bigger injector lines, or you could go with a piers STUPID PUMP.

Just my .02

Yes, a lot of options (opinions) on what to do next and the specific order of mods. My first post was very brief and mostly to open the bidding.
If you plan to keep going on the horsepower quest you need to address a couple of items.

Let's go back and recap the various replies
1. Keep it in 1 piece:
KDP been blocked, tabbed, or otherwise disabled?
You really should think about head studs at this point. This can be done before the head gasket blows and without pulling the head.
Possibly after market boots to hold the boost.

2. Timing advance
Lowers EGTS, and helps with the added fueling. If you went with head studs, the timing can go higher.

3. Turbo
You are close to the limit for a HX-35 turbo. How far do you plan to go?
Will a larger turbine housing be enough? Maybe a hybrid 40/35 charger.
Are twins in the future? Map your path.

4. New fuel plate.
10, 4, 100, 0

5. Governor springs
3k or 4k with heavier valve springs.

6. Delivery valves

7. About the point for a larger exhaust system and start looking at porting from more airflow.

8. Next turbo upgrade or more injectors or more injection pump?

Also with more "go" power is the need for more stopping power. Upgrade those rear brakes to larger wheel cylinders.

Lots of options
The final order is your choice.

Give J.R. Adkins a call he sells laser cuts for a good price. I hear he also does some good turbo work. I have not gotten anything from him, but I always read good things about him.
