whats the difference

does anybody know what the difference between the phat shaft and super phat shaft is? is really worth the price difference? i have a bd super b, but i think i have outgrown it.

super phat shaft = 14 cm exhaust housing

different turbine wheels, the super is larger with 1 more blade

Nope my phatshaft is a 64/14 =P

The super phatshafts use a larger turbine and a custom housing so that the turbos will pull harder on top. A regular phatshaft would hit 10 #'s sooner than a super according to Brett @ II

That is correct I recenty grilled II for info =P I found out that the turbine on the 64 is sized between the 62 and the supers which to me explains why the sps62 and the ps64 spooled simularly in your truck. Just fyi.

yup, I got my info from a previous post of yours. Sure wish I could have got that ps64 to work in my truck, I still think it's the best all around turbo
