theres a shop here in edmonton, canada. They have trannies that will hold 900+ HP....This is proven through a guy here who runs low 11's with his truck with these trannies. They are 5200 CDN! So that like 4000 US.

I got quoted $6700 for a auto to hold the power in my truck.. so anything from $2k - 7k I'd say is what it'd cost you to buy a bullet proof auto.

I gotta go w/ the Crimedog on this one. You can't beat Dave and his guyz in Iowa. I quote here "If you break it and can get it to me I will fix it." That is the best warranty I have ever heard of. Give him a call. I plan on moving up to the billet input output and intermediate and the new stator very soon. Their phone # is 563 778 2719 if Dave doesn't answer just leave him a message he will get back to ya.

I really like the title of this thread. And like the others who posted already I obviously have a personal favorite tranny builder too. My reasoning goes past shafts, stators or someone elses quartermile time. It has to do with solutions. Bulletproof is something to strive for and the reward for doing so is having the best transmission available. Year after year after year...

Give Scott @ MassDiesel a call... He's a good guy and has some good deals! Got my tranny, exhaust, injectors & exhaust brake done out there! Also bought my Edge Comp from him...

I sent an Email to david at Goerend and here's what I got from him.

Hi Tyler

the base trans is 2750 includes triple disc and all internal updates
valve body capable of lock up in all forward gears via toggle switch
pressure starts at 90 and goes to 180 add $400 for twin blade
super tight converter stator, add $1950 for billet input shaft and hub
billet intermediate shaft and billet output shaft for total of $5100
depending on what you are using it for you may or may not need the shafts.
warranty is 3 years no milege limit
thanks
dave g
