What are your spring projects?
Ok, it's winter and after being bundled up for the past few months I'm looking forward to the warmer weather, so I can add a few items to the trucks. With nothing to do all winter, I know I am not the only one that makes plans, buys parts all in anticipation of the warmer weather. So what have you guy's got planed? Diesels attract "tinkerers", so I know there a many out there with plans, share them with us.

I am thinking my trans, it is not giving me any trouble just that it is holding me back from going on up in Hp? I am trying to patiently wait till it shows signs but it has not yet so I am getting antsy!! Also I am adding on 1000 sqft to my shop for a lift!! Goodluck,,,, Rick

I am still trying to decide wether I am going to do a Torque Converter and Valve Body, or do a complete rebuild.
Only the TC is showing signs of weakness right now. Depending on how that goes, I am going to do 2" lift (both ends), probably 35" BFG's, and grind my fuel plate. Then I am going to get to work so I can pay for it all!!!!!!!

Just got my DPP stainless exhaust this week. I'm going to try to wait for better weather to install it (we'll find out what kind of will power I have). Then aFe intake and fuel pressure gauge.

Make sure to grease/oil/lube everything up that needs it. Pressure washers tend to remove necessary oil/grease build-ups that help lube important parts under your truck (steering linkage, trac-bar, so on).
I've learned the hard way from washing too much with pressure washers (darn those mud holes back in my high school days!!

First off I'm finally going to get my winch, fill up that hole in the front bumper.
Guages, guages and some more guages.
Probably paint my air dam so it matches the bumper.
Paint my D rings.
They came with chipped orange paint,
thinking of stripping off the rest, then getting that rubber tool handle goop and covering them with that, black or blue to match the bumper or the truck.
(note to self, need to get a pic of them on here)
Move my CB into the hole vacated by the cup holder and get a new scanner to fit in there as well.

Well not too much. Just had a remote start w/keyless entry and turbo timer installed. I got home and my Westin Ovals were on the porch so I instlled them. Just finished that about a 1/2 hour ago.
I'll finish up the gauge job this weekend I hope. Everything that is except the dimming circuit that I'm building for the gauge lights. I want to dim them independently of the dash lights.
The 295/75/16 Nitto's are one the schedule for May. If they rub then there will be a set of a D25 SJ's put on in May also.
I hope that will hold me for a while

P.S. I almost forgot. I'll be mounting an auxillary fuse block also.

Spring comes earlier in CA than other places. Had J&H Performance in Redding put together a DDT tranny with an 89% converter. I must say, its like a new truck!!!!! They also installed some 370's while it was there. Would have done it myself but they only charged me $100 to put them in, play with my #10 plate ( trying to help the EGTs), and time the pump. Harvey when way beyond what I thought he had to do, just trying to really make the truck make me do this--- . Its that and everything more!
