What will I notice from 235-85-16 Vs 245-75-16?

I need new tires on my 94' stock truck-the truck came with BF Goodrich in the size of 235/85=16-the factory stock size is 245-75-16-

I was thinking of going back to oem stock sizes. it does have a boss v plow on it, which I only use for my own plowing-need comments asap please..thanks

I went the other way, from the 245-75's to the 235-85's.

I like the fact it is a bit taller and narrower, speedo and MPG calcs are 4.6 percent off, but I don't typically push the speed limit. ( like 2 MPH slow at 60 )

I like it for winter time, the taller narrower tires knife thru better for me, a Cummins isn't all that good of a mud truck anyway.

I will say I hated my BFG's, they acted like they had soft sidewalls, more squirm than I liked, and they wore out very fast. I put on a set of Cooper ST's and have been happy with them, got about 35K on them and will replace them before winter.

Your current tires are 31.7" in diameter, and the factory size are 30.5" in diameter. So what will you notice going back to stock size? Well, probably a slight different in mileage, speed (actual vs. speedometer), and power. Going back to the stock size will give a slight better bottom end, and you won't be speeding anymore, thinking that you weren't in the first place, and you will notice a decrease in calculated mileage. Having the big plow on there, it might actually be an advantage to run the smaller diameter stock size, just make sure they are a "D" or "E" rated tire to handle the extra weight. Good luck in you decision.
