Walboro fuel system or oem/holly pump with a vulcan line kit and a juice would be a great start (tell him Sluggo)

Stage one afe is just fine- you could even buy just the $70 replacement filter if you wanted to build your own heat sheild.

My friend just bought a AFE replacement filter & made a custom box out of aluminum then welded a pipe through it to hook on the filter & his intake tube. It really turned out nice & sounds great too! If you want good fuel pressure on a low budget....a pusher pump like a holley blue only costs $110 from Advance Auto. In conjunction with your stock LP will supply 20psi idle.

I'd agree with them, no need to buy a $500 kit, you can make one for WAY cheaper, I did mine for about $100 and it is pretty slick IMO.

the factory airbox is not restrictive until you are approaching 500 hp. so depending on your goal, you could spend the money elsewhere.

What he says. I went with a replacement universal nanofilter from Amsoil, and am very happy. My EGT's are cooler now (though I wasn't really that hot to begin with) and the turbo/air sound is much louder. I like the effect of the turbo whistle, but the silencer ring is definitely going back in soon!

one of the mags did a comparison between the stock box and a few aftermarket units. they didnt get any change until they were pushing 500hp. you can buy one for looks, or spend it somewhere else.

Do you have any links, I spent last night reading the pro's and cons of BHAF for hours and unless you've already bought one the vote was not necessary on a 2nd gen. My biggest concern was the 680 CFM through that huge filter and the price locally is $70. Also someone mention removing a rubber membrane in the filter housing.

Anyone??

Thanks.
