what size mach's will work the best

i'm looking for new injectors for the truck in my sig right now i have jammer 3's and i like the the power they have i just hate all the uncontrolable smoke they produce even with the low boost fueling turned down basically these are my goals for new injectors i want to bee able to drive my truck daily on level 3 without smoke unless i'm really getting after it i'd be fine with it smoking on 5x5 i kind ok like smoke when you can control .it must be able tow heavy loads even if i have to turn my juice down right now i have no egt trouble and faster spool up cause right now my truck either spools fast and smokes alot doing or its a pig to drive not that i mind smoke its just not cool all the time cause if i tow a trailer in town its awful hard to drive and not just smoke everbody out i'm thinking mach 2's 2.5's or 3's

007, my truck is pretty similar to your setup. I run 4s and drive mostly on 3x3 on the Comp. I can drive 3x3 with no visible smoke about 90% of the time. WOT from a stop is about the only time I get a good amount of smoke and it clears as soon as the turbo lights (my turbo is a bit smaller then yours). 5x5 can still make cars behind you disappear if you try, but can be driven with very light visible haze with some practice. With your turbo I would think you would be very happy with 4s.

do any of you guys running m4's tow heavy loads 15k thats one of my concerns and you guys that were running jammers and went to m4's did it help your spool up. all of the f1 dealers i have talked to tell me i won't be happy with m4's if i don't like my jammers they say they'll smoke to much i they say that they sell alot of m1.6's and m4's but almost no m2's or m3's only want to do this once you can't turn injectors off but i don't want to be wishing i would have gone bigger

Mach 1.6's

Beating a dead horse...couldn't stand them! As much bad publicity as RV 275 injectors get as being a "crude" injector in terms of technology, I went from 275's to 1.6's....back to 275's. I wouldn't waste the money on them. More smoke, equal boost building capability, and less mileage. As for 4's in the towing configuration (15k), you can back the box off, but you can't the injector. Your much safer to go smaller on the injector, and turn the box up.

Has not slipped yet. Whichever injectors you decide to get, you are gonna need to turn the box down when towing to keep egts in check. Notice I said turn it down not turn it off, a little bit of timing from the box actually helps egts, I would try 1x1 or 2x1. My truck runs cooler egts even empty, with the box on 1 then it does with the box off.

RV 275's and an Edge EZ gives you gobs of power and low smoke on the 2nd's. Really a bargain power gain. I had Mach 1.6's and DD2's at different times on my '99. Both were great, but the RV 275's are a super compromise.

I went from 275's to Mach 1.5's and lost mileage/gained smoke. My pickup is used exclusively for towing and looking back I think the 275's provided the best towing setup. They made all the power I could safely use while towing and gave me the best fuel mileage I have seen (compared to stock and 1.5's).
