I am not set on any particle brand of injectors. I just am leery of just getting nozzles. I have just heard good things about ddp and f1 diesel injectors.
Big blue24 that seems like a huge jump in injector size mach 1.6 to mach 4? Could I even run mach 4s with my hy even temporally?

Yea you could run em with your HY, But I would turn your J/A down or off and still watch EGT's.
I feel the same way, kinda a big jump 1.6 to 4's.
But I aslo agree with what big blue said... The in between sizes seem a little strange to me too.
Not that Im doubting F1 sticks, just that you hear about guys runnin the 1.6's or 4's 10 times more often then the Mach 2's or 3's.

If you run no extra timing, you can easily hold 50psi with the stock HG.
With any timing-advance box, 40+ psi is borrowed time.
Pressure isn't the only thing that kills HG. Thermal cycles are REALLY what kills HGs. The deeper, the worse.

I forgot to finish my last post..I have some Mach 4's comin my way from a friend in a few months, and if I dont like the EGT's or smoke from em while towin, I think Im gonna be lookin to sell of trade for some DDP 110's.
I figure, DDP is still a really good brand from what ive heard, Like F1, And Ive never heard bad about the 110's.
SO, Im thinkin that that stick would be a good in between.
Just FYI.

right now i dont tow enough to really worry about setting up for towing. So I will pick up some mach 4s or ddp equivalents just as soon as my truck gets out of the body shop... again. then get the turbo to match when funds permit.

Hey your going to have to upgrade the turbo. The HY turbo is pretty small turbocharger. Long time ago I ran a set of 90's and that turbo. The turbo compressor housing changed colour in a few days. Shortly after that the turbo started to choke-up. Mach 4's or DPP 150 are pretty good sized sticks, they are toasty on upgraded turbochargers. If you tow heavy anything, you'll need twins and/or use water/methanol spray? Mach 4's or 150's work real nice in twins turbochargers.
What tranny mods have been done? You have an idea on the stall on the converter? If you have a high stall converter, you can live with a bigger turbo easier.
