What mods to get 300+ HP out of a 95?
Still searching like a Shark! I found a couple of 95-97's that could fit the bill but know they are down on power. The 95 looks the most attractive as far as upfront cost. What is needed to get 300 HP out of it and what would the torque be?

if its an auto you have the smaller pump. I have a feeling a good set of gauges, An aftermarket ram air, IE a scotty two or a BHAF, a different more aggressive fuel plate, some 370 injectors, AND IF POSSIBLE swapping in a 215 pump and a turbo should put you way up there at over 300 rwhp, with the small pump you can look up Cummins4life, Zach has a 160 (smaller hp) pump and gets a good hp number out of his truck..
Im will be runnin a VERY similar set up (most parts are not installed yet, and are in a corner in my room waitin for a turbo and clutch... )
TQ with his setup is a good number too, i dont member if its 800 but im sure its more.
Best

370's, 100plate, 181's, HX40/16, AFE intake a 4" straight pipe did 370hp/780tq
370's, 0plate, 181's, stock HX35/12 at 33psi, AFE intake and 4" straight pipe did 340hp/900tq. Was extremely out of air with this setup, got hot fast and that definately hurt power. Like the quick spool though.
Dunrite tranny with single disc torque converter.
Its has a bit less now.

370's = #$300
0Plate = Free (make one out of your stocker)
100Plate = Free (make one out of your stocker)
181's = $100
Homemade AFE intake = $85
4" shorty straight pipe = around $250
HX40/16 = $900
HX35/12 = Fee (stock turbo)
Tranny = $3200 full rebuild with new TC & VB
96-98 5psds are 215 pumps (most desireable)

I did 290/710 at the wheels on a '98 auto with a #10 and 3KGSK. Messed up timing, and broken wastegate at that!

Set your timing at 22*, 3K governor springs, 215 injectors, 10 plate, check and make sure the throttle is getting full travel and you will be right at 325 HP........good , clean, usabe power.
The 370's are to much smoke and to sensitive for street use, for me.

Here was my take on a 100plate

To make that into a 0 just grind the little step off the bottom so its all verticle.
