What lift to clear 35's?

Aight just got my finances figured out and had a lot more left over than I thought. I want to run 315's(35's) but I am going to need something. I have 305 Nitto's on it right now and with the front end sag there is no way 315's would fit. Should I just level it in the front and put new shocks and be done with it or is there like a 3 in" lift for this truck. Any suggestions from guys who have lifted the 2500. I had a 1/2 ton with 8" and 38's before so I don't want to go that big again. I want a little lift to sit it up and then I am throwing in the edge ez, gauges, and bumpers and I am done with this one. I want a ranch hand but I don't want to go through balljoints every 10K miles. Any tips, suggestions, or comments on this would be great. What lift, what susp. components replaced if any, and any good bumpers that won't wear your front end out? Oh and should I even worry about exhaust or just keep the stock straight pipe that I have. Would I benefit from going to 4".

i cleared 315's with 2" spacer up front and 2" aal in the rear. i liked to keep some more clearance in the back for towing. but i could fit a 315 on a 16x8 no problem but i rubbed 16x10's. i would love ranchands too but they are really heavy and costly. would like the front/rear/headache rach combo.

I would recommend at least a 3'in kit. How wide are your rims? I have a 3'in lift with 16x9.75 and on certain angle with the wheel turned it will rub (pics in gallery). If your going to a fuel box, I would definetly recommend putting on a 4'in exhaust. It will lower your egts.

3 inch minimum should do it..

I can steer 305s with mine, and its only 2.5 inches, so a 3-4 inch will easily do for you...

Hey Buckshot,
Were did you get a three inch lift? I am looking to one day lift the truck, was planing on just the 2" level with maybe a 1" lift in the rear.

Aight who makes the3" kit. I think skyjacker has a 2.5", is that what you are talking about? I am assuming my wheels are 16x8 with 305x70x16 nittos on them. However this combo came on the truck when i bought it so I don't know. Do I need to replace the track bar and ball joints or should they be fine with 60k miles?

My 35" mud tires rub the control arms at full lock, but they don't ever touch any sheetmetal. Photos in my photo gallery. I'm running the Skyjacker coils, stock wheels, and an ARB bumper. The rear is stock, although I do have the Camper package which I think might make the rear of my truck maybe a 1/2" to 1" taller than a non-camper package 2500s.

It's a Warn Black Diamond lift. It was put on back when Warn was in the lift business. I don't think they do lifts any more.

I clear 315 BFG AT's on 16x8s, the rub barely at hard turn and compression but aside from that no issues oh yeah can run and have run spiked tire chains (Trigs) without issue Front and rear offroad in the mud and in the snow. minor clink and potential rub on the fenderwells when bouncing hard but never any sheet metal yet two winters and the trigs are about worn out.

2" aluminium spring spacers.

BDS makes a lot of different combinations for your truck, but I don't know where to find information about them. I did a 3 front and 1 rear kit about a year ago, the kit was $325 with shocks. I realize it is not as good as a Skyjacker or some of the other brands, but I figure if you don't do any serious off roading then it will work fine. I haven't had any problems. I spent the extra $125 and got dual front shocks and dual steering stabalizer set ups for mine.
