my shop owner has a 12v in an old ram charger and has 370's 191's cooled by a s300. He just uses it to go screw around in the mud so if you tow you would want something like a 62/12 13 or a 64/12...? I'm no expert just from what I've seen on peoples sigs the 62/71/13ss are doing well. I myself am shooting for 400 horsies and will probably match it with a budget hx40/16cm or if I have money a 62/12 htt

Running without a plate is a bad idea.

On turbos, I'd go with something mild at first. You're far more likely to be happy with something a little too small rather than a little too big.

But you can get a 62/65/12. It's an HTB2 available through HTT.

You can get a 62/71/12 but you have to order it from I.I. directly. Running with no plate is A-ok its just an urban legend about breaking a rack pin with no plate IMO. You might be best off with a 64/71/13SS, it should cool better than a 62/71/12 and IMO spool just a tad bit slower...

Do you think he has enough to spool a 64? seems like doing a 62 with a 12cm htt housing would be good combo to cool that but like I said I am no expert...
