What Intake?

I don't know if I need a new intake or not. I have a 2002 CTD 2500 6sp HO with a comp box and just got my con OFE about to put it on. I was wanting to get a lift pump upgrade and 60 or 100 hp injectors. I was wandering if I needed a new intake system to keep my EGTs down. I have a 5" exhaust and I know that will help but i didn't know if I would need an intake too. If anyone has an opinion on it please let me know, and let me know which intake you recomend.
Thanks
Derrick

If you get the diesel power mag they had a whole section on all the top intake upgrades. They found out you dont gain a lot by doing it alone, but since you have your exhaust and box already it wont hurt. Your exhaust is what will get your egts down, and since you alredy have it you should be just fine.

since you have the exhaust you dont have to but i would, you can get more air flow which means more power, right, thats the big advantage of an intake upgrade.
