This is what happened when I picked up my new Truck.
I posted my first thread here the other day about being new here and to say that I am new to the world of Diesel trucks. I just traded a 2001 V10 LB for my new one. I was going to buy a Diesel when I purchased the V10 but I couldn’t justify the price difference. I drove the V10 for 2 years until the current incentives were tempting me so I bought a new HO and I am happy, here is the vitals.
2003, 2500 SLT, SB, 2WD, HO, 48RE, Leather Package Drk Slate, Security Group, Light Group, Tow Group, Towing Mirrors, Tow Hooks and the color is White.
I think I did well with the final purchase price so I am happy.
I have been lurking here for a while and reading all I could.

When the salesman called to let me know the truck was in
I had told the salesman to make sure to check the differential for proper fluid type and amount. He thought I was NUTS.... All he could say was "This is a new truck".
I told him I still wanted him to check it, and either he does it or we do it together when I pick it up.
Well the truck was ready to be picked up and off I went to get it.
As I pulled into the lot the salesman saw me and as I approached the showroom he was called someone by phone. Out from the back comes a mechanic. I was worried something was wrong with the truck.
The first words from the mechanic was, “Who or How did you know about the Fluid level not being correct in the differential?”
I smiled and said "was it off?"
He said "¾ of a quart! And I filled it."
He was amazed, and told me he has already started to check all the rams on the lot.

As soon as I got the truck home I removed the silencer ring and the sound of the Turbo is music to my ears.
My next door neighbor just bought a SO two weeks earlier and didn’t know about he HO, he was surprised about it.
He put an AIRAID system on his this weekend has anyone heard about this system, is it good or not?

It was good to know that with your help here at this site I am able to have an inside advantage to problems and helpful advice when needed.
Thanks again
nicksort
Do a search on the Scotty Ram air 3 to read some of the threads on the system. I am very pleased with mine, I don't know any thing about the AIRAID system so I am of no help there, but send Rod an email like Shovelhead stated. Enjoy the new ride ;D ;D ;D

I have gone to high performance diesel shops knowing more about goodies than they did. Even showed them a good web site to see. Its amazine how much info you can get off these sites.
Glad to hear about your truck. Good luck.
