what gives more performance (EXHAUST)
ok i actually was thinking about my truck and what i should do......
since all i want to do to this truck is intake, exhaust and a box would i be better off just leaving the factory pipe on and take the muffler off and replace with a stright pipe, or would i get more hp. if i got the banks exhaust for the 03.....thanks

Re:what gives more performance (EXHAUST)
i'm sure you would see a (very) SLIGHT performance gain w/the banks over a stock/straight-pipe exhaust. but you likely would not tire of the sound of the banks as you would the straight pipe (your personal preference?). the straight pipe option is by far cheaper. a lot of people's decisions are driven by money, if you've got the cash, go banks.
banks claims ~15rwhp and ~27ft/lb gain w/their monster exhaust on the '03 ctds
