What gauges
If you had to pick the three gauges to put in what would they be? Considering that the truck is stock except for K&N filter. Pull a 8900 lbs. 5th wheel on the weekends. Day to day just to and from work.

Missing one important detail...auto or manual?
First and foremost, a FP guage, pyrometer, and boost (if its a manual) or tranny temp guage (if its an auto)

i stopped in the local cummins dealer here in milford mi and the tech i talked to said when they do the lift pump and vp44 they also request the customer to have a kit installed that puts a pressure valve on the fuel line and a amber light on the dash. if the fp falls below 6lbs the light comes on indicating low fp.
how about that system? anyone run it or heard pros/cons? he said it is more reliable than a gauge.
this would also free up one of the gauges on a pillar set.

Depending on how much money you're actually wanting to spend, I would advise Boost, Pyro, and FP on the A-Pillar and then put the Tranny temp on the steering column. They make gauge pods for the steering column that look sweet. Of course, that would be more money but that would be good insurance for all the pyrameters needing watched. Just my suggestion and opinion.
