ok but ive never seen a truck with a completley stock pump with absolutely nothing done to it melt down an engine

Its not something that happens very often, unless a mechanical failure is involved. Im not talking about a "stock pump" Im talking about a pump with 0 dollars $$$$ spent

ok well do u mean one with like a ground down plate? or the stock plate slid ff?

not even just the fuel plate... you can do a gsk with washers and timing by a friend with a kit, may cost you a few beverages.

Grind the plate, tweak the Afc and mill out the assembly cap.....should be good for 21mm of travel.

Pump conversation work best on stick trucks. The later vp trucks use too much electronics to get the P pump to work. Yes, you can do it but its some tweaking. Its all in the tuning and the parts that you select to set the truck up to run right. A year 98 to 99 stick truck convert easy, later trucks with auto aren't so easy.
