Dude, are you the one that was asking last evening about your gauge?

You can do a search on the topic and spend about 3 hours browsing, there have been polls conducted on it too.

Just about everyone here has some brand of gauge(s), your going to get 30 different answers.

I'm thinking that you should send back the fancy electric set up and get a mechanical gauge.

I use a AMI (AutoMeter Industrial) 35 psi water pressure gauge. Matches my Z-series stuff perfectly - and I doubt it was designed for a Dodge diesel.

$10 for this or $230 for the official Z-series electronic version. I think I'll live with it saying "Water" on the gauge.

Yup, I agree. i am trying to figure out which gauge to get now. i would like to come close to matching the look of the ones I have but it isn't as important to me as reliability. Would like to find a mechanical one that somewhat resembles this one.

I just use a plain old Autometer Sport Comp 0-15 psi mechanical gauge.....I don't have the need or interest in pushing more than 15 psi to my VP44 ever so this gauge suits me perfectly.....it is the bottom gauge in the pillar.

Okay, that's a pretty trick gauge you got there.

I'm not sure why Summit is saying it's no good for "Dodge" diesel.

Dieselmanor sells the same gauge and makes no mention of it?

ASTAR,

FYI, 0-100 psi is way too much guage (that range is for fuel injected gasser motors). You need 0-15 or 0-30 psi (0-30 if you plan on a FASS or FASS 2). While a lot of guys do run electrics - you can beat a mechanical for accuracy and cost.

Oh I know. Understand that when I first started putting this truck together I bought the Lunar Series gauges and only bought boost and pyro. They came in a pyro 0-1600 and boost 0-35 so they matched what I needed perfectly. Then I went bigger and needed a fuel pressure and this is the only one that matched the set. I also had to upgrade my boost when I went to a bigger turbo and they didn't have that either so i bought a black faced one and put it on the steering colomn. Now the gauges in the pillar match and the one on the colomn is more stand alone but matchess the black faced dash. Thought I was all dialed till this.
