This is good info, I guess these boxes and injectors give power increases but buyer beware... don't expect to get what they claim. One question that hasn't been addressed for noobies would be what does a 98.5-02 24v, 235 claimed hp actually dyno at the rear wheels, bone stock? After getting this number, do you add 50% of the claimed hp or peak hp of each device you add. We need a baseline here to work from. Just whistlin some dixie hear

A stock 235hp cummin will dyno around 190 to 200 rwhp. Mine was 194rwhp. I install an edge ez and got 245rwhp. Installed a set of 40rwhp injectors and ran around 265 range. I pulled 315rwhp on a comp box and with a set of 90rwhp injectors I got 400rwhp. With my current set-up I got 677rwhp and 1400 ft*lbs about 2 months ago. In a couple of months I gonna have a nos system on her, just to sweeze a couple more ponies out of her.
These are ball park numbers, everybody trucks are slightly different.

A truck that runs around the 400 area, is a fun truck to drive. Its not a wild animal to drive and will not too smoke heavy. You can still tow a decent load with it. My stock turbo running a similar combo, was a dark bronze color. Yes, did I got her hot once or twice. The pistons looked still new and head was in great shape, so... The only thing that I didn't like is the EGT's took for ever to cool off while driving it. The top end of a stock turbo, you can feel it fall off at high rpm's but how many drive at max rpm's.

Wow! Where do you go from 677 !? Those 90hp injectors made a nice increase. How many VP's have you gone through?

I already have a superchips programmer I run at the lowest level and a K+N drop in filter.

Can anyone tell me about what hp/tq I should expect out of this combo? I know the superchips is around 40 hp/75 tq on the low setting, the K+N may or may not have any effect on hp, the 4" exhaust should add a few ponies/tq (10 hp/30 tq?), and the injectors should be good for 40 hp/80-100 tq. So, conservatively, I should have around:
235 hp + 40 (SCMT) + 10 (4") + 40 (RV275s) = 325 hp?
460 tq + 75 (SCMT) + 30 (4") + 80 (RV275s) = 645 tq?

Any of you guys lucky enough to run on a dyno have any opinions??
I know work on the 47re will be next, I expect that.

Sig added AND UPDATED
2002 2500 4x4 w/47RE, 3.55 gears/Superchips Tuner/BD J-Hook/Boost fooler
The SCMT is more like 35hp, and the 4" exhaust adds no HP.

So starting with the 210rwhp your truck MAY have stock (could be lower), it would look more like this:

210hp plus SCMT (35hp) plus 275s (40hp)= ~280hp

Most guys with just 275s and an EZ dyno right at 300 even, and a SCMT is a little milder than an EZ, so I'd say 280-290.
