Another way to clear up the confusion is to realize more air can RELEASE available HP, if your smoking at WOT. Your substituting better combustion for smoke (unburned fuel).
But adding air to a balanced diesel set up...will add NO hp!

ib516, Guy I know has a 2000 with Comp box, rv275 injectors and 4" exhaust. He dyno'd 333/724 this weekend. I would think you would be about 50-60 hp less than that with the superchips.

When I installed the 4" exhaust it made NO change in my 1/4 mile ET. It did, however, lower the EGT.
The price you got to Dyno your truck sounds really high. The place I go charges $75.00 for 5 pulls. Heading back there on Nov. 19.

For your combo of the superchip and the injectors, I would guess around 240 to 255 rwhp area. The superchip program really doesn't add a whole bunch of power. Those injectors add about 30-40rwhp. My truck stock with an ez box made 255 rwhp. If your after big power dump the superchip and buy a comp box. My truck stock made 197 rwhp, back 4 years ago.

Also remember that, Airflow, will help spool up the turbo sooner, allowing you to make power sooner. Although spooling the turbo won't help HP numbers on the dyno, especially on a less modified truck, airflow will help with driveability.
The more air you can get in and out of your motor, the cooler, and more efficient it will run.
Even though you can make a boat load of power by adding more fuel,, adding more air is ALWAYS a good thing.
Intake and exhaust mods will help with overall driveability, but maybe not too much with peak power.

Stock HP you should be anywhere from 170 to 210, with a superchip, about 20-30HP more, and 275's about 20-30 more as well.
As low as 220RWHP, to as much as 270RWHP.
My suggestion is to get an Edge EZ, with some Mach 2's for a quicker diesel, or, for a "hot Rod" get some Mach 2.5's with a Edge COMP.

Merrick, I don't which twins your using but I curious how laggy is your set-up? My truck spools the twins spool-up as quick as my Hy-35 did and the turbo lag is hardly noticable. I don't know if its from the mach 6er's or my new cam, but so far I've been pleasantly supprised as I have a low rpm stall converter in my current tranny combo. PDR thinks that its their proto-type cam that I got but I'm not that sure.

UPDATE:
I have added the J-hook and boost fooler to the Superchips. Exhaust and gauges are next, then I'm going to see what kind of EGT I see before I add the 275 injectors.
I add another update then.

I think my idea of spoolup might be different than others.
Mine is how well the truck spools up without smoking.
I rode in a truck the other day that spooled reasonably well, but when you looked in the rearview it was just completely blacking out the road. He had some Mach 4.6's and a Ball Bearing GT-40/42 hybrid.
My truck still runs like stock with the Comp turned on 1x1, except with a boat load more torque. It hardly smokes, and gets respectable mileage.
My spoolup, without smoke is just a tad longer than stock, but with the box turned on, spool-up is much faster than stock, but smoke is on the heavy side.
I have J.R.'s twins, a PDR cam, with a lower than stock C/R.

I find that with my twins that my truck spools faster (smokes less) on 3X3 than 1X1. You might get a puff of smoke on intial spool-up, but once you have both turbos spoolin your smoke level is actually quite reasonable. If you coast with no throttle, then go to mid throttle. You can smoke out the freeway. That is the worst condition that I find with the twins. I run a set of PDR street twins. Here in Calgary (3500ft), the spool-up is abit more sluggish than at sea level. A sea level you can actually immedately light the tires on green light acceleration on a non-boost launch. At my elevation, its a bit less fun but after 10 feet the tires start to smoke. PDR was trying to tell me that the quick spool-up is from there cam design, I think that its more a result of the big injectors having fuel to spool the turbos faster. I have installed a set of 100rwhp injectors, the smoke levels are slightly less than the mach 6er's that I run.
