i have an edge with attitude in my truck. last year it shut my truck down. it was the edge, because when i dropped it to 0 for factory setting, the truck started up. i havent had a problem with it since. tonight on my way home, the display started making a wierd noise. it seems to be locked up, because none of the buttons do anything.

my question is: should i send it to edge to have it fixed, buy a new one, or just by a different programmer.

the reason i bought the edge is because the fact it has the display to monitor everything.

Call edge and send it in to be refurbished. I don't think it cost a whole lot, maybe $200. Way cheaper than a new one anyways.

My brother has one on his '01 that is having the same issues yours is and more. Some times it won't even shut off. Like the turbo timer is messed up or something.

When my Edge Comp was causing problems on my truck, Edge took it back and updated it for free.

I agree with others, seems you have been pretty satisfied with it. I would send it in like others said, and get it looked over and updated.
