What do ya guys think of this???
I am growing tired of my chrome brush guard after only 3 weeks. I am gonna go back to a front end replacement like i had on my Chevy's. I am a dealer for Southwest Fabricators, but I also found this company called Tough Country. Here are some pics of their bumpers on 03' dually's like mine(except for mine has the black flatbed). The wife doesn't care what I do, and isn't giving me any input, so I am counting on you guys for advice. Here are the pics....................

Looks good! I like the sloped bottom. Most front end replacements hang down farther than the origional bumper. This one looks like it would have a pretty good approach angle. Only thing I can think of is do they come with the mesh wire in front of the grill too? I like the mesh because it seems to catch bugs and such before they get to the grill, and it's easier to get them out of the grill guard. Also, how much does it weigh?

That is a sweet bumper. Saw their display at the Dallas truck/suv show in May, nice quality products. I like the rings on them. I believe they will spray a coating like Rhino or Line-x on them as well. I believe they are priced a little better then Ranchhand and they have a bigger selection. They are on my short list for when I put some "meat" up front.
My .02c: Go for it, it looks awesome!!

Luke,
You asked for opinions - - here is mine. I liked the chrome better. But, that is for MY truck. I like the finished look. That guard needs to be on a jacked up 4x4 with a big gorgeous ugly winch on it. Then it would be perfect. It depends on the look you want - - rugged and wild, or finished. For the wild look, that is a good looking unit. Not for the Ghost, though.

I think its a bit too big and bulky looking, and the one kswanner posted is nicer. Although, if I got one, I'd certainly not let them paint their website on the bumper. Is that on there, or just in the pic?

Nice deer strainer.
Do they offer one with a hitch receiver? I have been looking at the winches that will plug into a 2"x2" hitch receiver. This allows you to leave the winch at home when in the everyday driver mode and plug it in when you head for the trails. You also have the ability to plug it into the rear of the truck so you can winch both directions. It would be nice to pull your self back out of the mess you drove into. All you need is to wire up a plug in the back of the truck while you are putting one in the front. Ok back to the bumper. It does look good.

Aren't They out of Uvalde, TX???
I cant remember if that was them, or another outfitter.. there is a good one I use, called Brown's Welding.. They are out of New Braunfels, TX, and their # is (830)625-8712, or (800)625-8712.. They do custom stuff, and are way affordable (~$600) for front end replacements. Just PM me, or reply back on here, if you want pics of some of their work..
