What do these codes mean?
1693 & 0230.

What do they mean? And what do I do to correct them?

1693 is a companion code...its telling you there's a code in the PCM (*edit*).

May get a better response in the engine section instead of the performance section.

P0230 refers to a lift pump problem

Just to clarify....

The 1693 means there is a code in the PCM (power train control module). You'll need a scanner to identify and clear.
