What Co. makes the best and most afforable exhaust manifold

Found out I have a crack on the bottom side of my stock exhaust manifold just curious who is running a after market one? HTT, ATS, BD or others?
Do they really help or should I just go back to a stock one?

Thanks Chris

They help by eliminating the shrinking problem. I have not seen HTT, but the BD manifold is raw casting, so gets ugly real fast. The ATS manifold is coated and keeps looking good. I have the BD on mine.

That might be true on the newer ones. My ATS is a bit over 2 years old, and is a solid rust colour. Coating burned off long ago if there was one on there.

HTT here and wouldn't go with anything else. Puredieselpower.com for sure has the lowest price, too.

Bridleman has a 24v, which puredieselpower doesn't list. Your next best bet is most likely going to be http://www.performancedieselwarehouse.com/

Pure Diesel Power has them listed for a 24 valve. You must have missed them. Thanks Steve B.

the coolest manifold is the one greg houge "comp461" has over on comp d. its all tubular s.s. looks gorgeous and said to help spool i might have to drop my brand new ats bigfoot to test this out!

sledcrusher02 - not sure on our diesels, but on turbo gas engines, a tubular manifold always spools slower than a log style manifold, and are known to crack.

I have the new ATS that comes coated. They are all good though from what I understand. I would guess you could probly just find the chepest price on either manifold and take your pick. It is nice that my ATS came coated, but you can always have it done yourself if you dont want it all ugly.
