What chip should I get?

A friend of mine the other day was asking me about what he could do to get more performance out of his 2000 cummins. He recently got a little larger 5th wheel camper and thinks he needs some more power. The truck is bone stock and I have been telling him for a couple years now to put a fuel pressure gauge in it, but he hasn't done it. He basically told me to do some research and see what all he would need to get and what price tag, more then likely I will install everything for him since it is getting difficult for him to get around in his old age. I currently have an Edge Comp and have no complaints with it and a full set of autometer gauges to go with it (boost, pyro, tranny, fuel press). What else is out there, not looking for massive power increase and some additional fuel mileage would be nice to. At a minimum I was thinking a chip, pyro and fuel pressure gauge. Ought to do the boost and tranny too since it is auto, but not sure how much he will be willing to shell out to do it right.

THx

My first thought would be an Edge EZ for the power. And since a set of all 4 gauges tends to add up cost quick, an attitude monitor direct from edge.
All together your lookin at just less then 8 bills.

Of coarse the Juice with attitude is just a little more then that.. But the EZ will give him very very simple to use and light power with all the gauges he'd ever need from the attitude monitor.

Just my .02.

If he's not mechanically inclined, he'll probably never pay attention to the gauges anyway. It may be a good idea to get him a EZ and then hook up a light to show low fuel pressure.

Thats true... He might not even look at em. Low fuel press light will prob be just fine only runnin the EZ. That'll keep costs lower too.
