What chip makes the most smoke?

I know that black smoke is mostly show-off, but I was wondering what chip makes the most black smoke??

I've heard the Banks Big Hoss Tuner makes a little and that the Edge Ez and Comp make a little....I just wondered what made the most.

I know the Blue Boxes make a lot

Just for grins,
-Ryan

What is the tst3?

Will injectors make more smoke than a programmer?

What do you guys know about that "banks big hoss diesel tuner"? I tried doing a search on it and couldn't find much....I don't know maybe it's very new???

www.shopdiesel.com says it has 5 different power settings you can get, etc...but all the other stuff I can find says 70hp. That's prolly about all you'd want with everything else stock????

I'm just curious about all this stuff

Thanks,
-Ryan

Most chips will produce a lot of smoke from a start or whenever there isn't a lot of boost. If you want A LOT of smoke, get the TST PM3 COMP with remote and some big injectors. That oughta get you your smoke.

See 'My Smoke' in my signature for a video example of a PM3 Comp stacked with an EZ along with Mach 6 injectors. Be aware though, the cause of black smoke is not enough air and that tends to make for HOT exhaust gas tempurature.

If you really want alot of smoke, you can trade your truck in for a 12V, and modify it......

To make some good smoke with a 24V, *I* prefer the Edge Products stuff, like the Drag COMP, and then put some BullyDog 2's or 3's. If you are willing to do a turbo, and clutch, then run 8's to attain the "Official State Mosquito Patrol" title.

To make some Smoke, AND power, I'd stay with a Edge Comp, but go with www.f1diesel.com 's Mach 1.5 or 2 injector, a bigger turbo is required after the 2's.

I don't know if I need that much smoke....but I'd like to have it!! I would like to see some smoke pics with a couple of these different chips.

One of my instructors is supposed to be getting me a schematic to build my own chip/box. He said it is something similar to the "blue box".

That might be the cheapest way to go.........

What's the whole deal with plugging (unhooking) the waste gate? I've heard of some guys doing that....I sorta understand the pro's and con's but not totally. I would think it would de-fuel faster but.....

If you want your 2nd gen to smoke before buying the mentioned boxs/chip your better off getting gauges then upgrading your clutch then you can look into boxs its cheaper to follow this route then if you went strait to the smoke..

and you can always pick up a 1st gen for about $7000 then turn a couple screws on the mechanical fuel pump you'll smoke all you want and keep your 2nd gen as a cruiser
