Well I noticed some water dripping and rust colored water on the bottom of the hood. I see its coming from whatever the fan bolts to. I figured it was the water pump but nope, and the moron at auto zone had no idea. It looks to be coming from behind the pulley. What is it called. Thanks

 

Its just an idler that the fan bolts to. Only thing I could think of is if lubricant was coming out of the bearings of the idler, but shouldn't be water and rust.

 

I looked like if was coming from behind that pully. Everything is covered in rust colored water. It might be the pump I hear the squealing when I start it. Where else could large amounts of water be coming from. Its not the head gasket. No water coming from that area

 

Behind that pulley is just the engine block, and part of the timing case. But if the timing case was wrecked, you'd have oil, not water.

 

i think theres a frezze plug behind there ...
