What is the best head gasket?
I want to run 45-50 lb. boost and would like to get a new haed gasket but not sure wich is best and where to purchase.Also do i need to replace bolts or re-use them.1994 #10 plate boost elbow 255,000 mi. otherwise stock.

I think that this should go to aftermarket-accessories..
What year truck?
I would strongly recommend studs instead of bolts. Depending on your fueling you might consider O-ringing the head too.

Ya I have to agree. Go with studs to keep the head on. O-rings aren't too expensive and leave room to grab more boost. I think they are rated for over 70 lbs. They are only $300 or less. If the head is off just do it. I will why my copper gasket goes or when I get some money.

I have to agree with everyone else. We had the head O-ringed for $325 at Schieds and also had studs installed. It deffinently is worth it for reliability and peace of mind. Plus you would be set for more upgrades.
