look for BigDan on TDR, he has a set of 18s on his third gen. I'll add a pic of my latest tire/wheel combo to show how much these stick out. all my pics for now are of my Welds/BFG 37s.
Consider that stock 16x8 aluminum Dodge wheels are approx +35 mm offset, my +10 wheels are still sticking out another inch from stock.

wanna talk about price ? lol.. my frickin tire got a big ol' nail in it today.. i have a 22 inch rim with a 325/50/R22 Toyo Open Country AT and the nail is too close to the sidewall to be patched.. imma have to buy a whole new set of tires because i have too many miles on the tires to just replace the one tire.. it'd throw things off a bit.. my tires are 475$ PER TIRE

That is the main reason I stayed with 17s!!! Even $300 per tire is outrageous, but I gotta have my bling! That and the Toyo offered the 37x17 in a load range E 4300 lb rated tire.

That's what is bringing this all on. I've fixed the same tire twice in two days. Kind of hard to make it to work on time that way.

I just ordered some 16x8 Eagle 058's for my truck. I paid $369 shipped to my door with chrome center caps(i personally dont like the ones that cover the lug nuts), lug nuts, and valve stems. They are rated at 3420lbs, and IMO are great looking rims, and cant be beat for the price. They are also made in the USA. Says it here on eagles site:

http://www.aewheel.com/eagle_alloy_wheels.cfm?id=23

I havent had much experience with weld, but i know they are way overpriced IMO, and I do think most of the Eagle "copy cats" look better than welds version. IMO, if the rims look, and perform good, then who cares what brand it is. Ill have pics up when I get my rims on.

I say go ahead and go with the eagles. I too think welds are over priced and ive heard more than a few stories about reliability issues. I think the eagles look great. I say go ahead and buy the eagles and save that $$$$ for fuel!

The install didn't go as planned.
The wheels have too much offset, which is causing a LOT of rubbing on the back of the front wheel fenders.

They are going to adjust the castor to see how much that helps. If it doesn't I am either going to have to choose a new wheel with less offset or cut into the fender. If we cut into the fender, I would rustoleum (sp?) it, and then cover it with fender flares.

Do you guys have any suggestions or ideas?

~Rory

PS. That is with a 2" leveling kit

I had those wheels on my 02' 1500HD. 20" w/ 35" nitto mud grapplers.

I didn't have the truck very long before I ran into some serious medical bills and problems with the lender (had to sell it) so I can't give much of a review.
Although a very different application the finish of the wheels were better than the Weld draglites on my Camaro.

Well I got them put on. I went with 295/70R16 instead of the 35x12.5R17. There isn't any rubbing with the 295s and I think it looks good. Now for some fender flares.....
