looking for some input on a idea I had for my truck.
A friend told me I can get ohm reading off my map sensor at full boost, and install a resistor in its place. now this will fool the computer into thinking its got full boost all the time, im not sure i like that.
But what if i get an on-on switch, intall the resistor on one side and run the map sensor on the other side, then i could have a no- smoke mode and a smoke mode.
Even thought about a monmentary contact switch i could install on the thottle linkage so when pedal is on the floor i'll have full fuel and when not on the floor, map sensor will function as it should?

Yep, I thought about this too. It would work. I want to do it, because I think the TST PM3 box is a wimp until boost comes up. Once there is some boost, its good, before boost, I think it is a very weak box. If does after all have a CARB EO # so that pretty much sums it up. It is deigned NOT to smoke...... BORING >>>>


GO for it. I like the limit swith idea on the full pedal travel..
