Westach Gages ????

Considering the Westach dual Boost/EGT gage.

Anyone have experience with this gage ?
Are they easy to read? vs single gages ?

I have one in my one truck.
I like it, looks good and matches it pretty well.
I will say its a little harder to read than a single gauge, but I wanted a cleaner looking install.

In a shoot out some time ago all the gauges tested worked well. It's just a matter of likes. I have the dual also and I like it, never had any prob reading it and it works well. Mine is on the pillar with a tranny temp above the hump.

Here's my dual Westech in my 06'. Love it. Very clean and simple. Hated the 3pillar gauge setup from my 96'.

Thats why I went with a 2 gauge pillar on me 2000, fuel pressure and a combo boost/egt gauge, both westachs.

If you asked me if I would buy them again, I would say I already did. Another combo boost/egt for another truck and a dual temp for another one.

I've used the Westach combo guage and the only part of it which wasn't first rate was how the boost line attached. The weird part is the boost portion needs a 12 volt power supply to work and the pyro doesn't.

The pryo was absolutely superior - extremely fast acting and dead-on accurate, and keeps on working after the ignition is turned off. It doesn't use an amplifier, so is easy to install. No other pyro on the market is faster reacting.

The Westach is much easier to read boost and egts, together, than with two separate guages.

Westach was established to make aviation instrument, and that's still their primary market.

As you fliers know, pilots live and die, literally, by their instruments.

Westach is as good a guage as any out there....
