westach fuel pressure gauge pegs left
Hey guys, I installed a westach fuel pressure gauge on my truck and when I apply power to it per the instructions it pegs to the left. I get no measurement at all with it and Im not sure whats wrong.
I had Geno's send me another sensor but that doesnt seem to be the problem (I 'll probably just pay them for #2 and keep as a spare) so Im not sure what else to try.
Any ideas?

I went with the wiring diagram that came with the sender and grounded it.. but maybe the sender doesnt agree with the one pictured in the diagram.
maybe Ill try reversing the leads when I get home from work

Definitely sounds like a ground problem. If I weren't so far away from my truck, I'd check out the hookups for you. I'd make sure you didn't reverse the two wires coming from the sender on the back of the gauge. One of them is grounded, the other isn't. If you reverse these, you'll probably see it pegging left.

I know this is an old post;
But I'm having the same problem. The only thing I haven't tried yet is double checking the two wires from the gauge it self.
The instructions are very confusing in the wiring description:
It says to "Connect pin #2 to either sender lead. Connect other lead to the same connection and pin 5 to ground. Connect pin #4 to positive.
What "other lead"? In their illustration pin 5 goes to the other sender lead, and a ground is tied to it there.
Thanks for any help.
