I think most oils lose viscocity over time- I'd think it'd be the same for the tranny fluid.
Hey BB- I'd think this is a great opportunity to try out 1/2 power: sw0 =P

Tried it, hated it, on #3 now. It's holding the injectors alone great. It's SOOOOOOOOOOOO hard to keep my foot out of it. The engine is just begging to be let free. Not to mention that every bombed diesel in the world was blowing smoke at me today.

Just think man a few more weeks and it'll all be worth it!!! This will just give you time to forget how your truck drove with a stock tranny and all that power.......then you'll get your new tranny in and be flat out amazed how much power that sucker really has.

Nah. She'll hold. I have faith in the old girl. I know she's begging to see what she's doing. I just can't wait to strap it on the dyno after the trans is built. Should be interesting.

Dang... BigBlue you are just beatin' the tar out of that transmission arn't you???
Well You should hold off the Dyno and get the trans then hit the bricks with the new one! I'm glad I've got a stick...But I need the power now...

You sure I don't need to bring a trailer to Baytown? I can drop it off with James on my way back to Plano. You know, just in case it only has a couple of weeks and a dyno run left in it.
So how are you liking #3? I just tried it out Sunday night because I wanted my cruise working normal again for my ride back to Dallas. Still a little smoky on the low end and you can still feel it. Had thought about going to Fuel Saver, but figured I'd try something new.

Justin I can barely get a puff of smoke from the truck with it on 3. Granted I don't even have my TST hooked up anymore so it's just injectors and the smarty. It drives ok. I definately miss the catcher programs.

I can get a puff right off the line on a 2nd gear takeoff. Once I'm running, it's pretty clean with the TST on 0.
Not having the Smarty in there at all definitely makes a difference. I unloaded mine the other week to let a friend try it in his. While it was unloaded, we got a fire call so we headed out in my truck with just the TST. It was still there on the top end, but you could feel that it was lacking on the bottom. You just can't beat this combo. Now if I just get the turbo in there so I can really try it out. LOL
