Good #'s out of those injectors Tyler. About 50 more than I layed down with them. Congrats on that and the tranny! BTW, I understand about running on 5 because of what you normally run in. I was running on 5 until Mike D talked me into sw3. 3 does a nice job. Don't know if you've tried it much, but you migh want to. Mike dropped 2 tenths by dropping from 5 to 3 in the 1/4 mile.
I was going to try #3 on the 1/4 mile today but we got rained out.

Congrats blue. Bout time you got a tranny in that thing They make all the difference. Ill be glad when mine is built, and I can move on to worrying about other things like head gaskets, and stuff. So far she is doing great though. And the heck with all this dyno stuff. When are you gonna run this thing at the drag strip so we will know how it really runs? Have fun with the new tranny

Not this friday but next I'm headed to HRP. Time to see what this thing will do. I let a friend of mine drive and I sat in the middle and when she punched it I suddenly felt the metal bracing pushing against my back in the center console. Life is good.
Matt, I'm very happy with these injectors. I've tried #3 on the street and it sucks so I don't run it.

Awesome!!! After serious discussion with brandon, I don't think I want you anywhere near my truck. You have some sorta curse on you that makes stuff break.
And you know I can't resist a pretty little girl asking me to drive it.

Blue, hows your truck shifting? I never drove a DTT tranny truck but I've heard about how hard the shifts are? What rpm is your TC stalling at? Time to try out a 25psi boost launch and feel the NEED FOR SPEED. I heard the DTT race tranny is one of the hardest shifting tranny around. Mines soft in comparision. Is the torque converter grabbing/holding better than your last TC? You should make the trip to their shop. A great bunch of guys. I almost bought a DTT tranny. Happy hunting and for the pete sake be nice to the ford boys. Its hard to humble when you drive a cummins.

My shifts are as smooth as factory. He never played with the shift firmness cause I didn't want them stiff. They could use a little tightening but they are very quick and crisp. Only way you know it shifts is by watching the tach and listening to the engine. It's that smooth. The TC is stalling around 1700-1800 which is fine for me. I didn't want something very tight. Smoke is an issue with this as it is. Gotta be careful how I get into the throttle. I definately didn't get the race tranny. I've ridden in other DTT trucks and they shift firmer than mine but nothing bone jarring. Just as firm as the goerends and suncoast I've ridden in. We won't discuss the ATS truck I rode in. This torque converter is light years ahead of my other one. The second I touch the throttle it accelerates. It's great. I don't even feel lock up cause it drops maybe 100rpm's. I'm very, very impressed with this tranny and I barely got any parts in it. I can't wait to get the full on kit.
