water pressure as a fuel pressure gauge?

I'm was looking at the autometer web site for a mechanical fuel pressure gauge, they have a 35psi water pressure gauge, was wondering if there would be any harm in using this as a fuel pressure gauge, they also do have a 15psi fuel gauge. Would this be to low psi for my truck. I have the FASS 95 series.
thanks

If you dont mind running fuel into the cab - you can absolutely use that guage. A pressure guage is a pressure guage, regagrdless of what is written on the face.

I would say you need the 0-35 psi. The FASS would be pegging the 0-15 psi guage.

Autometer 35 PSI mechanical gauge is what I have in my cab. No isolator, just 1/8" fuel line. Works great. The gauge was $7 from Surpluscenter.com.

I've ran an autometer industrial 35psi water pressure gauge for the past 40k with zero issues... paid all of $10 for it too!

It's the one on the left... Center is Exhaust brake back pressure.... Right is air tank psi... For the price I couldn't pass up wrong labels!!

bnold, do yours have lighting? Mine has a hole in the back but no light, and I never got back to fitting an LED in there, so can not see it in the dark.
