So the rust rumor is just BS? You running any rust inhibitor? RowJ, you using 50/50 or windshield stuff? I was trying to think how bad that the head could rust anyways. There only abit of surface rust that could collect, but nothing serious. The #1 and #6 intakes ports are so badly designed on these engines, whats a little rust anyways gonna hurt.
I just put on 1600 miles on my truck spraying the entire trip. I even put the start spray at 15 psi of boost and full in at 25 psi. The truck still works, I did get some bucking, but... I did see a fuel saving of 1 to 2 mpg gain, but windshield washer stuff is expensive, so its not exactly saving any money but seeing those egt's drop like a rock is priceless...

Whoa if your under warrenty still Id say w/m is one mod that will jump right out at ya. Unless you remove the bottle and lines and everything if it has to go in. But even then I think they'd know what was up.
If its your 06 in your sig that your doin this too, post this question in 3rd gen and see what those guys think as well.

No to rust inhibitor.
I buy Racing Methanol (99.95% pure) from a customer of mine.... $160.00 for 55 gal Drum. I pick it up (out of state).... no tax, no shipping.
If heavy on Hwy...I mix 10% Meth with Distilled H2O. Will buy washer fluid when I run out but yes, it has gotten a lot more expensive around here also.
I don't need to use the injection much around here.... flatlands. But in mountains I use it a lot.
Racing I use 50/50.
