Water / meth is used for cooling high EGT so it lets you run more fuel with less air. It also helps clean the combustion chamber. If you run methanol in the mix you add a little horsepower but since it has a lower flash point than diesel it will preignite and cause pressure spikes in the combustion chamber.
If youre going to use methanol Id make sure you have orings and studs.
Money would be better spent on a turbo. Maybe something small like a phat shaft 62/12 if you want good street manners.

Nice Kit!
If heavy towing...check into Stage 3 kit. Streches H2O/Meth usage for long trips.

I know this is an "older" thread but i've been looking into the SNOW Performance Stage 2 and was wandering if there was anything need to look out for. I'm currently running straight pipe, intake, and smarty for performance mods. Would this be a good move for the next "performance" step?

I personally would go with a bigger turbo. Its much more set in adding power, providing air, and cooling all in one without having to deal with refills and correct distribution between cylinders etc etc. Just my .02

I'm trying to do things w/ low noticeability (if possible). The truck i under warranty and will be for a while. I don't have to much time left up in the AK so i'll be transferring dealerships (wherever i end up) soon. Hopefully a little more "mod friendly"

Whoa if your under warrenty still Id say w/m is one mod that will jump right out at ya. Unless you remove the bottle and lines and everything if it has to go in. But even then I think they'd know what was up.
If its your 06 in your sig that your doin this too, post this question in 3rd gen and see what those guys think as well.

I just run one 325mL nozzle, I can't believe that I waited that long to install my system. Just as RowJ stated, it will cool egt's by 200 deg's and you'll gain 30 to 40 hp. If you run lots of low boost mostly of the time and just need to cool down the turbo some, water/methanol is a way to go. I'm so impressed, I'm gonna run a second line just for water when I tow my RV trailer. I could build a home made kit for $150. I'm just gonna use AG sprayer equipment. They have wide range of nozzles sizes and flows. Run a 4 to 6 gallon tank in box, for the long hills.

I always let it idle for 5 min... or run truck down the road, under power, for a mile or so, with injection turned off.
I pulled my head in Nov and no evidence of rust, after 4 yrs of using H2O/Meth..
When towing, just turn it off a few min. before you get to where your going. Not a big deal, just need to be aware of potential problem.
