water meth?????

hey guys yesterday i hooked up my water meth stage one kit from coolingmist. i set the boost switch to 18psi. when it comes on truck starts to stumble and back fire feels like its puttin the fire out blue smoke out the stack. i turned both boxes on and it would still pop out the stack but not as bad. i have 2 nozzels in the intake horn put dont know wut size they are. i also did not notice any drop in egts at all it made 3psi of boost though.

If your truck is bucking and jumping, you have too much spray. Back it off a little. You can either set it for when you hit higher boost, or hotter EGT's.

I have a snow kit, and when I was running a pure 50/50 mix, and I was not at WOT, it would sound like I had a few pistons taking the day off.

I agree with what "madhat" has already told you. You have TOO MUCH water going into the engine! I have been running water injection systems on my 96' Dodge CTD for almost six (6) years now and I can tell you, there is some "tuning" involved in getting them set right. And each truck is different.

As Mark told you, try turning down the flow some AND raise that boost setting up to about 20-25lbs. from the 18lbs you have it on now. If that doesn't help you may want to lower the jet size some, but go down in SMALL increments.
