wastegate adjustment?

You can use a needle valve or a boost elbow in the line to the actuator. I have had mine blocked off for years. With a stock, or nearly so, truck it's no problem just blocking it off. You don't make enough boost to harm anything.

with your mods I would not just block it off. This is what I used just make sure the spring range is correct for the boost you want. I would not run over 30 to 35 lbs the stock turbo is out of it design above that and makes heat. You do have a pyro right?

That valve would go in the line coming off the your turbo to the waste gate. You can do the same thing with a needle valve from your hardware store, but it does not look as fancy. The valve restricts the line flow to make the waste gate open later with more pressure.

I think the 94 is the same as mine(HX 35). The pressure for waste gate comes off the turbo at the bottom front of the plenum. Goes down to the waste gate actuator , down below. If I remember right, it was a 1/4 plug to close the opening once the hose was removed. (been a long time)
