wastegate adjustment?

just wondering if there was a way to adjust your wastegate to make more boost. does anyone have a pic if you know of a way.

You can use a needle valve or a boost elbow in the line to the actuator. I have had mine blocked off for years. With a stock, or nearly so, truck it's no problem just blocking it off. You don't make enough boost to harm anything.

how do you block the wastegate and there is a spring on it can i do anything to that to let me have more boost?

with your mods I would not just block it off. This is what I used just make sure the spring range is correct for the boost you want. I would not run over 30 to 35 lbs the stock turbo is out of it design above that and makes heat.You do have a pyro right?

Ya i do have a pyro and ok that looks good where do i put that boost controller does it have a certain spot?

That valve would go in the line coming off the your turbo to the waste gate. You can do the same thing with a needle valve from your hardware store, but it does not look as fancy. The valve restricts the line flow to make the waste gate open later with more pressure.

i just looked at my turbo and wastegate and i didnt see a line connecting them??

I think the 94 is the same as mine(HX 35). The pressure for waste gate comes off the turbo at the bottom front of the plenum. Goes down to the waste gate actuator , down below. If I remember right, it was a 1/4 plug to close the opening once the hose was removed. (been a long time)
