Warped Powerslot rotors
I purchased the cyro'd powerslot rotors and hawk super duty pads in september and a few months later they were warped. The warranty is only 3 months on them. So I called TireRack where I got them and emailed them pictures, they said they were heat checked. (They are purple and blue with stress cracks) The lady told me 50% off off next set so I ordered another set for 200$ with pads.
I don't haul a trailer very often and when I do it isnt that heavy. I adjust the back brakes once every two weeks. I do some occasional mountain driving, but for being 120$ a piece shouldn't these rotors last more than 10,000 miles? I tried to order a better quality rotor but the salesman told me that the powerslot was the highest you could go. Has anyone else had bad luck with the powerslots?
p.s. I made sure to do the proper break in procedure.

I've had my Powerslots for about 50-60K, no issues other than having to get one side turned because the wear indicator snapped off the inboard pad and the backing got into it.

Sure fire way to warp rotors is to stop and hold them in one place after heavy braking. Like coming off a freeway offramp posted at 25 mph with a stop light at the bottom. Either creep forward a little while waiting for the light to change or use your parking brake.
