wanted: 6 speed for 12 valve
Well.....seems I broke the input shaft...I ll be selling my 5 speed for parts, it has an after market fully splined mainshaft (500$) and the bd short shifter too.....
Im looking for a 6speed, private or vendor......and the related stuff needed to do it.
I m all ears, just tired right now....

I ve learned, thanks to the search....that I want a big shaft 2001 or newer nv 5600......I already talked to south bend, they said all I have to do is send in my disc to put a new hub in it. I already have the big clutch, and there flywheel. Peter said just the hub needs to be changed. I can get the driveshafts done at a local shop easy, and the mount sounds pretty easy....turn it around and drop it 1/2 inch or something....didn t sound hard at all. The only questions I have is about 4x4 shifter...engagement? And I assume I need a 6 speed shifter.
All I really need is a good used 6 speed....
I looked in the classifieds....can t find one....I check tdr.....nada.....I checked ebay.....only dealers wanting a weeeeeeeee bit to much..
here 6 speed.....here 6 speed......

Call Blumenthals MFG www.blumenthalmfg.com
Talk to Kieth, he'll hook you up!
Unless you don't want a reman, of course!
4x4 shifter will need new linkage, or lengthen the old one. They have them, ~$15 IIRC. Shifter itself is the same, but need new button to go in it!!
I just did an NV5600/NV241 swap into my 95 NV4500/2wd. Simple!! Biggest problem was I forgot to tell them I needed speedo pickup in t-case...then I forgot the output yoke from my NV4500 wouldn't fit the NV241, had to find one of those yokes locally!!
