want to install fuel pressure guage under hood
As titled, I want to install a fuel pressure guage under the hood. I tried to search for posts, but my internet service has been in and out all weekend (crossing fingers while I type this). Any good suggestions for a source, and possibly a writeup?

I would simply go to Northern Tool and get a cheap pressure gauge (like $6) that has the range you want (0-30 psi) and splice into the fuel line prior to the IP. It'll fluctuate a lot but you can still read the values. I put one under my truck along the frame rail to double check the values against my electronic one.

if you mount under the hood, in my opinion its going to be a waste of time as , you cant drive and watch pressures, I orginally tested mine, I taped the gauge to the windshield, and on the road test it looked like I had 13psi and a low of 8psi, I carried on for a few months, then installed in cab and found I was hitting a low of 1-2psi when hard on the go pedal.
it might check out at idle but until the truck is under load, you cannot know for sure that the pump is good
