want bigger tires, what rubs?

well I would imagine that it would cause tremendous amounts of heat as well as sidewall chafing that would weaken the tire and affect the handling. also it squeezes them together so that is gonna lead to abnormal treadwear.
that's my look at it at least? tires need to breathe lol.
ps- I don 't know WHERE farmerlee got his 1/2" spacer info b/c that is WAAAY off.

I have a set of 285/75/16 Toyo open country m/t and have not seen any rubbing. Mine is 4x4 and I love the way these lookbut can't go bigger with out a lift
