I run the one from Glacier diesel and am very happy with it. I idle around 18psi. and haven't been able to pull it under 16psi.

Definately let us know, i'm interested in the wideopen diesel kit too.

As for the differences b/t the glacier and wide open kits, there seems to be little difference. The pump in the wide open kit is the same pump in the higher priced ($410 i think?) glacier kit. The lower priced glacier kit uses a lower number walbro pump. The wide open kit looks like it comes with the filter that glacer has as an add-on price. I asked a week or so ago why the great difference in price, and basically what I got back is the wide open kit is at least equal to the glacier kit, for a lot less $$

It looks like in the WOD pics they dont have all the big line fittings and hose like the Glacier kit. Youd need the rest of the fittings to do the whole thing. Also, the relay wires are bare and Glaciers has some covering. I believe Genos sells the vulcan big line kit for a little more then $100. So that could be the difference.

Just an observation.

The Glacier kit does not include the big line kit from the filter to the VP44. They say it makes a great addition to their fuel systems. It's an extra $69.00. Comparing the pics of both kits, the differences look like the WOD kit comes with the strainer that Glacier charges $12.99 for. Looks like they have different brackets to mount the pump, and the Glacier wires are covered. Also the WOD bypass is adjustable, and Glacier doesn't say if theirs is or not. The WOD kit uses the Walbro GFS-392 pump, while the $399 Glacier kit uses a Walbro GFS-391 pump, the $409 Glacier kit uses the GFS-392 pump, which flows 30% more (glacier says) than the 391 pump. So you're getting the better pump, strainer and adjustable bypass with the $299 WOD kit.

Has anyone used the Walbro 394?

Installed Today

I instslled my Walbro pump kit today from Wide Open Diesel. Being to old to bend very well it took me a lot longer than 2.5 hours, but I got it in and it started. I havent drove it yet, but it idles at 21 psi. Hope that is not to high. I don't want to go back under there to adjust it lower, but I will if I have to. Any questions just ask.

I bought a walbro pump "kit" from wide open diesel and it came with enough 3/8" line to go from tank to fuel filter. I ended up needing a few more parts only because I wanted to do a custom job. Plus the owner (can't rember his name) is cool, very helpful, and helped me out with shipping.

walbro

I bought some flexible wire protector. There was enough fuel line to go to the fuel filter. I left the old fuel line in place. I removed the left rear tire and fender liner. It made it easer to unhook the old fuel line from the tank and get to the filler tube. I changed the fuel filter out while I was at it. I bumped the starter before I put in the new filter. That primed the new line an filled up the filter canister. When the canister was about full I pulled the fuse out so it would not run over. I installed the filter and bumped it a few times and it took right off. Jasen is his name and is very helpful.
