walboro 392 and winter use

Has anyone had the Walboro 392 located on the frame rail during a northern states winter? If so, are there anythings I must be concerned about? I have the Wideopen diesel kit installed and am happy with it so far. Thanks

last winter, several instances below -50C, no problems to report at all.

I have no trouble with recommending the walbro pumps if you are using an electric lift pump setup

I have had my Walbro for two winterseasons without any
problems/issues.

And i live in Norway where we have 6 months with snow and
shifting tempratures between 0 and -30 celsius.

Are you concerned about the sand and salt or cold temps? I would agree that maybe it's exposure to sand/salt would deteriorate it quicker. I live in Mass and just put mine on, now you gave me something to be concerned about....

Get some of that liquid wire tape and brush it all over the terminals to keep them from corroding. Or coat them with dielectric grease every once in a while.

Or a dab of 100% clear silicone on each terminal.

Didn't drive it much last winter (dune to tons of snow) I'm going to make a shield from some aluminum diamond plate just to prevent a slush blob from nailing it, the silicone on the terminals sounds like a good idea to prevent corrosion
