Keep in mind that they were back ordered. I don't want people to get the idea that that's how they normally do business. Their customer service is by far the best I've seen in the aftermarket parts industry .

Now that I've re-read my post, I guess it did sound like I was bashing them. That was not my intention. I just wanted to let everyone know that if you ordered your module at the beginning of the month, that they are starting to fulfill the orders and ship out product.

No worries man. I know it wasn't your intention, but it's how other people could have interpreted the post. Enjoy it, it's worth every penny. Hopefully down the road, you'll get the bug and upgrade it to an XZT+. You won't be disappointed.

I was going to jump in and go with the XZT+, but I figured I'd better hold off until I get boost and pyro gauges. It would be too tempting for me to set it to level 2. Also, it was easier to justify with the wife that it was a fuel saving tool. And now that I have the box, she won't even notice when I upgrade to the XZT+

That is not how we generally like to do stuff like this. The problem was that on the day we released them we had distributors ordering quantities that we grossly under estimated.

I can tell you this, we have already shipped more of these than I thought we would for an entire year!

The backorders will slow down but, when you have ALL of your big distributors jump on board at the same time with something new then you get hammered!

I'm getting gauges and a FASS first, then doing TC and VB and then looking into a box...XZT+ is high on my list also because it doesn't tap the wire, has on the fly adjustability, and has mpg mode (timing) and power mode (fuel + timing)...

but I also like the smarty...

anyone know about a XZT+ and smarty stack? or have done this? Smarty has fuel only levels...so if I downloaded say 'mild Catcher fuel only with no timing' and set the XZT+ box on mpg mode (timing only) or power mode (timing + fuel)...is that possible? If so how do you think the truck would react in each case...any thoughts on this stacking situation?

You can stack most boxes with a Smarty, you just can't use the timing on the Smarty (odd numbers?) with the XZT+...notice the the "+" because this box adds timing...you can use the original XZT...notice the lack of the "+" because it's a fueling only box...

I received my MAX today! I will install it tomorrow, can't wait to see how much it helps.

The MAX sure made a difference, it bumped up the performance. I will run 800 miles or more this weekend and will see what mileage improvement it gives.

I think if you just want the mileage and performance enhancement, the quad box will do almost as well, possibly just as good, as the smarty for half the price. If you want the extra features of the smarty, then spend the extra cash. I don't think it would be a very beneficial stack versus running one or the other.
