Vulcan big line questions with sensor too

1) It calls for heating the hoses prior to pushing them onto the barbed fitting ends, and to lubricate first. What does one use for the lubricant?

2) Aren't there any hose clamps needed with these fittings?

3) Does the Edge juice electric fuel pressure sensor require any type of a needle valve "snubber" where the 1/8 NPT port is drilled into the VP 90* fitting?

Thanks guys.
p.s. any pictures?

The fittings have barbs on them so that the hose can go on but is really hard to take off. You dont have to heat them but if you put a little muscle into it they slide on sorta easy. Im not a big guy and i didnt heat mine i got mine on pretty easy. I have edge juice with attitude and the kit comes with all the right hardware to easily install . any other qusetions let me know. mario

you can use a squirt of WD40 on the inside of the hose end and the fitting. the vp fitting supplied has a 1/4" pipe inlet for use with the edge sesnor.
