OK, taxes are back and i am ordering the edge juice with attitude finally.
the only bad part is Xtreme diesel went up $200. it was 615 and now it 810 isint that some BS. shoule have ordered it a month ago

MY question is. I saw that they recomend this BD VP44 stealth kit. is this a good thing to go with or a waist of money?
Also is it necessary to get the 3 foot cord extension? i am only using the a piller mount.

If you truck has warranty left like mine the stealth cover is a good idea. If not go ahead and tap it to the wire on the injection pump because it is going to cost you either way if it goes out. Just my 2 cents. No, you don't need the extenstion cord. Only way you would need that is if you are mounting the Attitude monitor around the rear view mirror.

not to shore about the warrenty, when i bought it 2 years ago, it had just under 30k miles and now i am at 60,500 miles. i did not get an extended warrenty so i am still rolling on the factory gig. i think it 100k on the tranny and all and 70 k on the other ****.
will installing a FASS 150 save or help my fuel system?

Upgrading the fuel system will defantily be a key before bombing these trucks. The FASS is a good system but there is so many different ways you can do that. I just had a lift pump replaced under warranty on my truck and they put the intake pump in it so I'm going run a Big Line Kit and mount either a stock Carter or Holley Red Pump as a pusher. A simple upgrade would be getting a Vulcan Big Line Kit and moving the stock lift pump to the frame. The lack of fuel and power can cause VP44 failure but there is so many other things that could freakisly happen to it. Its pretty much luck of the draw because there has been some guys that tapped theres and it died soon after and others have gotten 100,000 out of there injection pump after tapping it.

I recomend that you shop around. They are not the only ones selling them. You can get the stealth cover from Summit racing. they might even have the Juice cheap.
I agree upgrading the fuel system is a must.

i have shopped around a good bit. edge producte made their sellers increase their prive to 800. that is the price i am finding everywhere. i was told that if you find it cheeper then 809 then the selled is not an authorised edge dealer and they will not warrenty the item...........

Feel out your signature so we know what you have. Makes it alot easier, if you have a stock clutch or stock auto I wouldn't push it to the max with the Juice right now. I'm running mine untapped at the momment until I get my stock auto built this summer.

i know that adding Hi performance mods includes the risk of causing porblems and all that mess. i do not run the truck that hard and its not an every day driver. Is the hot juice that bad for the trannie and vp44. i am planning to upgrade all of that eventualy but not in the near future. i only have 60,500 miles on the truck

Check Ebay for the lowball prices on Juice w/ Attitude.

No extensions are needed for the pillar mount.

I'd recomend start shopping for a Lift pump upgrade. I can drop my pressure to 4psi on setting number 1 with the stock LP. I've got a Aux in a box now waiting to be installed when I get the time.

There are no stupid questions here!
The VP44 is the injection pump that feeds pressurized fuel to the injectors. They cost about $1100. So this is why it is important to have a fuel pressure gauge to monitor the fuel being fed to it.
The stock Lift Pumps feed fuel to the VP44 and are notorious for failing and eventually with no fuel pressure to the VP44 they fail soon after.
That's why most of us upgrade our fuel systems before BOMBing our trucks.
