Mine loped with just an HRVP. I plan on throwing in a set of .093" tubes and I'll see if it does it again.

HA Yeah sitting at a light is kind of funny at sometimes, lot of *** looks! Get the diesel arent supposed to lope alot to! No the silver bullet is not to hard to spool with my setup!

Sounds great. Like the stacks with straight exhaust. I might just have to buy larger lines just for that lope!!

Reminds me of the Detroit 2 stroke jokes with th buffer screw out. On those missadjusted buffer screws caused the govenor to hunt at idle but dissapeard off idle.
It does sound cool.
Just reminded me of someting else, when I was a kid the older kids that had cars would try and achieve a lope by adjusting the carb and timing just for that sound, couldn't afford high lift cams yet.

Looking at your set up there, what is the highest rpm you can get?

I had similar lope on my 24v like that video and the only way I could get it to go away was with dd4 or bigger injectors.

I know it sounds cool at first, but its annoying to drive and to cool down when you are trying to be half way quiet

it lopes because the injectors just barley have enough pressure at idle to open causing the lope you can put the biggest cam ever made in a diesel and it wont lope. there is no fuel going into the cylinder from the head so a cam will not make it lope.

the smoke on a puller goes from white to black because they dont get full fuel till the chargers lite and on the line when they turn the water on it will put some of the fire out till the eng gets hot enough to vaporize it.

white smoke is also a diagnostic indicator of poor timing (assuming its not cold outside and engine is at temp)

curios why did you switch to the dragon flow over the schied?

and could an automatic run .093 lines and tubes with the schied or dragon flow pump with out the worry of stalling when put in gear
