vp 44 symtoms help
#2
Its the nozzles, not the vp44. Mine does the same thing right after installing nozzles. Especially if the injectors arent all tested to close specs after reassembly, it may have some hiccups under full load.
Proper built injectors will solve it... but some of us are too cheap and just do nozzles

Im assuming they tested them when they buitl them..
Do you know what % within each other they test them to?.. say if injector numer one flows 100, its possible alot of people feel its okay to be within 10%of each other and the others can flow 90 or 110 or such.
A spread that wide can definetly affect the way the engine runs considering our diesels RPM is controlled by how much fuel is injected.
In all honesty if i were to do it again i wouldve skipped the $250 injector nozzles and went striaght to the $600 DD's.

I have a hesitation under full throttle and when towing. Mine comes at upper rpm's (2k-2.5k) in 6th gear only and not all the time. DD2's have been in for a year now and the hesitation wasn't there right after install. I hope the vp isn't dying.
