VP-44 Thinking outside the pump
Curious, since it seems that most of the vp-44 failures are electrical or heat/electrical related, just wondering if it was possible for a qualified shop (piers, bluechip) to remove the circuits from the vp install a wiring connector, and relocate the electronics inside the cab. There would be no vibrations, no heat related issues which could possibly mean a longer lasting vp.
I am no expert and do not know the insides of these pumps just thinking out loud.
Any thoughts on the subject.

There are a few components that would be hard to move.. One.. the seed sensor... the other would be the fuel temp sender.. because it senses the temp through the housing...
