VP-44 Thinking outside the pump

Curious, since it seems that most of the vp-44 failures are electrical or heat/electrical related, just wondering if it was possible for a qualified shop (piers, bluechip) to remove the circuits from the vp install a wiring connector, and relocate the electronics inside the cab. There would be no vibrations, no heat related issues which could possibly mean a longer lasting vp.
I am no expert and do not know the insides of these pumps just thinking out loud.
Any thoughts on the subject.

There are a few components that would be hard to move.. One.. the seed sensor... the other would be the fuel temp sender.. because it senses the temp through the housing...

Seed sensor? Isn't that only on farm trucks?

I asked Chip about moving the CB to the fender and was told it really isn't practical and may pick-up noise.
